The Société des Avions Caudron was a French aircraft company founded in 1909 as the Association Aéroplanes Caudron Frères by brothers Gaston and René Caudron. It was one of the earliest aircraft manufacturers in France and produced planes for the military in both World War I and World War II. From 1933 onwards, it was a subsidiary of Renault. Alphonse (Gaston) (1882–1915) and René Caudron (1884–1959) Born in Favières, Somme to parents who farmed nearby in Romiotte, the Caudron brothers were educated at a college in Abbeville. The R-14 Chusovaya (russian: Чусовая) was a single stage Intermediate-range ballistic missile developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. It was given the NATO reporting name SS-5 Skean and was known by GRAU index 8K65. It was designed by Mikhail Yangel. Chusovaya is the name of a river in Russia. The R14 Regional Highway is a highway which runs entirely within the Volta Region of Ghana, linking the Akatsi South District and the Agotime Ziope District. It is also known as the Akatsi-Ziope road. R14 (New York City Subway Car)
The R14 was a New York City Subway car model built by the American Car and Foundry Company in 1949. The cars were a "follow-up" or supplemental stock for the A Division's R12s and look exactly the same, differing only in floor patterns. A total of 150 cars were built, arranged as single units. Two versions were manufactured: Westinghouse (WH)-powered cars and General Electric (GE)-powered cars. The first R14s entered service in September 1949; the fleet initially ran on the IRT Flushing Line until the R33S and R36 World's Fair fleets were delivered in the 1960s. The R14s were replaced by the R62s in the 1980s, and the final train of R14s ran on December 10, 1984.
